Circumnavigating Currimundi Lake

 

I didn't think it was possible when I set out this morning. On previous visits it had looked like the outlet to the sea was going to be permanently under water. But no, today the sea was lower, and the beach was continuous. 

 

 

It's then a pleasant six kilometre stroll around the lake.

 

 

 

I didn't encounter any unexploded ammunition.

Currimundi skydivers

 

I requested a skydive for my birthday last year,but it got vetoed. I was promised a balloon ride instead, but the balloon pilot got sick, and it never happened.

Well what do you know? They do skydiving just down the Coast at Currimundi!

And it's my birthday again very soon!
